  • Can I buy tickets online the day of the event?
    Grandstand Tickets will be available online, linked from the schedule and homepage of the site. Once online sales are sold out, pit passes are available via the Pit Pay app, learn more at https://pitpay.com
  • The website states online tickets are now sold out, what do I do?"
    Grandstand Tickets will be available online, linked from the schedule and homepage of the site. Once online sales are closed, tickets can be purchased at our walk up window on race day beginning at 3 pm. Pit passes are available via the Pit Pay app, learn more at https://pitpay.com
  • Can I buy 2 tickets this week and use one of them for next week?
    No.
  • In the event of a cancellation, how do I get a ticket refund?
    Online Ticket Refund Requests need to go through the EventSprout ticketing platform. The easiest way is to respond to your ticket confirmation email for a ticket refund. If you are unable to locate the ticket confirmation email, reach out to EventSprout with your order number. Link to EventSprout contact form: https://www.eventsprout.com/contact/
  • Do you sell season tickets?
    Yes season tickets are available until general ticket sales open for the season. Once general tickets for the season open, Season Ticket sales will no longer be available for purchase. Season tickets are linked here *Please Note, if the Season Tickets form is not visible on the above linked page, then Season Tickets are closed.
  • Do you have handicap accessible seating for your events?
    Yes, Placerville Speedway has designated wheelchair seating available. Please contact the track directly for any questions regarding accessible seating.   • Can I purchase a Pit Pass to watch the races?
    Yes, they can be purchased via the Pit Pay Mobile Pit Pass App, see more at https://www.pitpay.com Those without smart phones can still purchase pit passes the traditional way at the pit booth. Ages 14+ Non-Member $45 Member $40 Ages 4-13: $20 Ages 0-3: $5 Children must be supervised 100% of the time. No scooters, bikes, wagons, strollers, etc are allowed. Parents must be ALERT at all times in the Pit Area.
  • Can I purchase a Pit Pass online or in advance?

  • I paid $ to park, does that get me into the race?
    Sorry, no. 100% of the parking fees collected go to the El Dorado County Fair Association.
  • What time does the racing start?
    Typically, cars are on the track for wheel packing at 5:30 pm followed by hot lap sessions, qualifying, stock car division hot lap sessions and heat races following at about 6:30 pm.
  • Can I use my credit/debit card for purchases at the concession stand?
    Yes. But, we do not accept American Express.
  • Is there an ATM?
    Yes, near the Novelty/Candy booth.
  • Can I enter early and put blankets down to save seats?
    NO. You are allowed to put a blanket down after the main gate opens at 3:00 pm and only save seats for the amount of tickets you have purchased. NOTE: Any blankets spread out prior to 3:00 pm will be removed by track personnel prior to the gates being opened.
  • What can I bring into the Grandstands?
    One sealed water bottle per person is allowed. An EMPTY water bottle or hydro-flask type container is also allowed.
  • Can I bring in a cooler to the grandstands?
    No. Outside food or beverages (with the exception on ONE sealed water bottle person) are not allowed inside our entry gate.
  • Can I bring a backpack with my blanket, glasses and headphones?
    Yes, to ensure the safety of all Guests, carry-in items will be inspected prior to entrance.
  • What is your animal policy at Placerville Speedway?
    Animals Service animals only, please! What is a service animal? A service animal is a guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. An individual may have more than one service animal. A Representative Of Placerville Speedway may ask (1) if the animal is a service animal required because of disability and (2) what task the animal has been trained to perform. However, a service animal requires no special tag, identification, certification, papers, harness, vest, cape, or pass. Patrons need to remember: “A service animal must always be under the control of the handler. A service animal must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the person’s disability prevents use of these devices. In that case, the person must use voice, signal, or other effective means to maintain control of the animal.” Placerville Speedway may refuse service animals that are deemed to pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others, or if the patron or service animal create a seriously disruptive atmosphere, or are otherwise not under a handlers control. An individual is not denied access if their service animal is denied access.
  • What is your alcohol policy at Placerville Speedway?
    Alcohol Policy Minors (under the age of 21) are not permitted to consume alcoholic beverages. Bringing alcoholic beverages into Placerville Speedway is not permitted. Alcoholic beverages purchased in Placerville Speedway must be consumed inside the General Admission/Grandstand area where they are sold. A maximum of two (2) alcoholic beverages per person may be purchased per sale. Contributing to the delinquency of a minor will be cause for immediate removal from the event premises without a refund. Guests who are intoxicated can and will be denied the purchase of alcohol and may be subject to ejection and/or arrest. Guests who are intoxicated can and will be denied admittance to all areas of the event. Placerville Speedway Management & Security reserves the right to check the ID of any guest trying to purchase alcohol that looks intoxicated or under the legal age limit. Beer & Wine can be purchased near the main concession stand during all scheduled events. The outside bar near the turn 1 side of the grandstands will be open during selected events. Any issues that involve an intoxicated guest, underage drinking, line jumping etc., shall be reported to Placerville Speedway Management or Security. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is not allowed in the Pit Area during races/heats or warm-ups.
  • I have a permit to carry a gun, can I bring it with me to the races?
    The possession of firearms, explosives or weapons is NOT allowed, regardless of whether a federal or state license to possess the same has been issued to the possessor.
  • I lost “something” while at the races, did you find it?
    During an event, guests should check with security about lost and found articles at the Main Ticket booth. On Non-Race days, Monday-Friday between 8:30 am - 4:00 pm guests can visit or call the El Dorado County Fairgrounds & Event Center office at (530)621-5860.
  • Lost Children/Persons
    Lost children/persons should be reported to the nearest security or staff member.
  • Code of Conduct - Placerville Speedway
    Code of Conduct Placerville Speedway is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable sports & entertainment experience. Race fans have a right to expect an environment where: Drivers and fans will respect and appreciate each and every fan. Guests will be treated in a consistent, professional and courteous manner by all Placerville Speedway and race team personnel. Guests will enjoy the race experience free from disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language or obscene gestures. Guests will consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated or underage guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner. Guests will not engage in fighting, throwing objects or attempting to enter the racetrack. Those who engage in any of these actions will be immediately ejected. There will not be any obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing. Guests will comply with requests from Placerville Speedway staff regarding operations and emergency response procedures. Placerville Speedway staff have been trained to intervene where necessary to help ensure that the above expectations are met. Guests are encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior to a security guard, staff member, official or management. Guests who choose not to adhere to these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund, revocation of season tickets and may also be in violation of city ordinances resulting in possible arrest and prosecution.
  • Do you have a lost and found?
    Lost & Found Any items found in the building should be turned into a Security Staff member, located near main entry gate. When a race or event ends, all unclaimed items are logged and secured. Any unclaimed items will be donated or discarded after 10 days. For any additional questions, please call the office at 530-344-7592
  • I dropped something under the grandstands?
    Guests should check with security (located at the Main Ticket Booth) about retrieving dropped articles. Don’t ever jump the fence to retrieve your dropped item.
  • We would like to have our company/organization attend a race as a group, can Placerville speedway accommodate us?
    Yes. It varies depending on the number of tickets needed and the date of the event. We can even include food vouchers. We are very flexible and will do what we can to make it as easy as possible for you.
  • My child would like to have a birthday party at the races, do you offer party packages?
    Yes, contact the office (530)344-7592 for all the details.

    Re-Entry Placerville Speedway has adopted a "no re-entry" policy after the completion of Heat Races. Guests who wish to return a to their vehicle, or need to exit and re-enter due to personal emergencies, must first make contact with a security staff member supervisor or Manager to make necessary arrangements.
  • Smoking Policy
    Smoking Placerville Speedway has a designated smoking area. Smoking is only allowed in the smoking area and smoking is prohibited in the grandstands. Smoking includes cigarettes, pipes, cigars, snuff, chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes and vaporizers.

    You can, but there are no guarantees, your blanket and seats will still be there when you return. We don’t recommend leaving your seats for long periods of time.
