Placerville, CA - Following a rain delay, Placerville Speedway co-promoters Scott Russell and Kami Arnold are busy preparing for the Inaugural “Nor-Cal Posse Shootout” Presented by Autism Awareness at the 1/4 mile clay oval, next Friday October 28th.
The single day event will include the original Friday format, qualifying each car, while boasting the Saturday night purse, featuring a $7000 winner’s prize and $500 to start for every car making the feature. Also competing, will be the Wingless Spec Sprint Shootout presented by Intents Racing and Konnected Clothing. That will still include the $1200 winner’s share, in addition to limited edition gold coins for the top 3 finishers. The Nor-Cal Dwarf Car program, as well as the original Friday ‘after party” have been canceled.
“We are still very excited for the Shootout, despite the postponement”, Russell stated. “A lot of effort has gone into making this the marquee race on our schedule. We are very proud of the event we have created, despite having to wait until next year to make it the two-day extravaganza we were hoping for. But, first and foremost, we couldn’t do it without the tremendous support we’ve received from our sponsors and contributors that are the backbone of this race. Kami and I are so grateful to those who have stepped up to make the Shootout something special”.
