Two weeks from tonight Placerville Speedway will hold a play day/ test & tune from 4pm to 9pm on Saturday March 18. Pit passes cost $25 per person and there will be membership forms available for owners, drivers and crew to register for the upcoming 2017 season. Concession stands will not be open and the grandstands are closed to the public during the play day.

The first racing event of the season is also fast approaching however, with that taking place on Wednesday March 29 when the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series invades the quarter mile for Brad Sweet’s Placerville Short Track Outlaw Showdown. Also on hand at the special mid-week showcase will be the Light Up the World USAC Western States Midgets.
